Before breaking into television, Pat worked at The Washington Post<\/strong> while earning her degree in Communications from American University in Washington, D.C. <\/strong>She is also a credentialed teacher<\/strong> and taught fifth grade in Solana Beach.
In the San Diego community, Pat is a trustee emeritus of the Multiple Sclerosis Society,<\/strong> serves on the Alzheimer\u2019s San Diego Community Action Committe<\/strong>e, and the Burn Institute<\/strong> Advisory Board, She has been honored with the Leadership Award by National University <\/strong>and named \u201cHealth Hero\u201d by Combined Health Agencies for her volunteer work with MS and the Alzheimer\u2019s Association.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day Tripper Tours<\/strong> and their happy travelers have enjoyed Pat\u2019s informative trips as a Tour Director <\/strong>since 2009. Traveling to new places and planning vacations has been a part of her life since going on yearly vacations with her family in Maryland.
Pat has airtime that has nothing to do with television: she has soloed a single-engine airplane,<\/strong> piloted a blimp<\/strong> and a sail plane,<\/strong> run off a cliff in a hang glider,<\/strong> ridden in hot air balloons and helicopters<\/strong>, and endured aerobatics in an open-cockpit bi-plane<\/strong>.
Don\u2019t forget sky diving<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her free time, Pat loves reading, traveling, cooking, photography and exploring history<\/strong>. Ice skating<\/strong> and roller blading<\/strong> top her sporting interests, with scuba diving <\/strong>not far behind. Life is an adventure to Pat. \u201cI\u2019m so blessed to have the chance to do so many different things and to have the love of my friends and family,\u201d<\/em> she says. \u201cThat combination is unbeatable!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
